ART for the Primary Student (K – 2nd grade) – This class will offer students an opportunity to express themselves through art by learning to draw, learning a variety of techniques, and working in a variety of media. Class fee: $15

ART for the Upper Elementary Student (3rd – 6th grade, Ages 9 – 13) – This class will offer students an opportunity to express themselves through art by learning to draw, learning a variety of techniques, and working in a variety of media. Class fee: $15

FUN & Games (3rd +):  Class time will be for table/board games and other self-directed activities(drawing, crafts, etc). Class fee: None

FUN with Food (K – 2nd): Kids will have a hands-on experience creating food that will be FUN to eat! Class fee: $10

Build Thru the Bible with Legos- We will read a story from
the Bible and act it out in class. The following week,
students will bring in a Lego creation that illustrates that
story. All building MUST be done at home. We will not build
during class. Class Fee: none

Bible Story Hour- We will spend the hour praising Jesus
and learning more of His love for us. Class will begin with
Bible songs and then focus on studying the earthly ministry
of Jesus Class Fee: None

Flying Creatures (Apologia): Lower Elementary (1st-2nd) – This
science class that will cover the Flying Creatures of
the 5th Day of Creation. The class includes activities at
home and in class,notebook activities, special projects,
and hands-on experiments to teach kids about birds,
bugs, bees, beetles, butterflies, and more Class Fee: $15

science class that will cover the Flying Creatures of
the 5th Day of Creation. The class includes activities at

Nature and Gardening- (K-6th) We will be learning all about
nature, doing nature crafts and in the springtime bringing home a new planted seed
every week! Class Fee:$8

Read Aloud Club- (3rd-6th) Classics will be read aloud to the
students. These books will be
above their reading level, but not comprehension level.
Students must be willing to sit quietly and listen so as not to
distract others. Quiet activites to work on and time for
discussion and comprehension. Class Fee: none

Elementary P.E. (Physical Education): (Ages 7 – 14) This class will offer students an opportunity to learn gross motor skills, play games using a variety of equipment/skills.  We will work on good sportsmanship, safety when playing in a large group, and following the rules of organized games.

What If?– (k-2nd) This class will use the series of books “What if
You Had Animal Parts!?” Each week will be a different
lesson on animal feet, hair, eyes, etc. There will be a
craft in each class to take home relating to the
theme. Class Fee: $5

SS and Geography-  (K-2nd) This is a year long class for children K
– 2nd grade skill level. We will be introducing students to the
concepts of community, government, laws, maps,
resources, etc. There will also be a geography lesson each
week. Class Fee: none

Tea Time Literature- (1st -4th) This class will be a time to have some
tea and listen to some readings from classic literature.
Classroom discussions will follow the readings, and some
coloring sheets will be provided if the students would like to
color during the discussion time. Class Fee: none

Tea Time Adventures– (5th-8th)This class will be a time to have
some tea and listen to some adventurous readings from
classic literature. Classroom discussions will follow the
readings. Class Fee: none

Acting-(3rd-8th) acting abilities through games. Students memorize
short skits & develop their characters. We “perform” skits in
class weeks 5 & 9. I video record for private viewing of MCC
families. Class Fee:$5

Elementary Music- (1st-6th) Students in this class will learn various
aspects of music. We will study basic theory, different types
of music and instruments, learn about famous composers,
play musical games and learn how to express worship to
God through our voices in singing. Class Fee: $10

One Hour Mysteries- (4th-8th) What better way to motivate critical
thinking than with a whodunit? Skills that will be learned
include deductive reasoning, inferring, taking notes,
organizing data, and analyzing evidence. Class Fee: $5
